Alessio Ruiz was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Isaac Torres, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those RBI marked the first that he has brought in this season. Luis Ponce was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
