There's no place like home for Foothill, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the California Grizzlies 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Falcons have posted since February 28th.

Take Sato-Kreis spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on five hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Landon Comerford and Tanner Tarpley did most of the damage at the plate: Comerford scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances, while Tarpley went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that Tarpley launched this season.

Foothill pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for California, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Foothill wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-3 victory against Berean Christian on the 10th. As for California, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 12-2 defeat against Clayton Valley Charter on the 3rd.
