While Wasco didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-23), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 34-27 win over the Orosi Cardinals on Friday. Winning may never get old, but the Tigers sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Wasco has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.3 points per game. As for Orosi, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Wasco won't have much time to rest: their next game is against AGBU at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. As for Orosi, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Orosi Cardinals duke it out with the Woodlake Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Woodlake will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Orosi surely won't give up without a fight.
