The Desert Christian Academy Conquerors stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Temecula Prep 57-33. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Desert Christian Academy has posted since December 14, 2023.
Desert Christian Academy was led to victory by Mia Aceituno and Hannah Shaver. Aceituno scored 12 points along with nine assists and eight rebounds, while Shaver dropped a double-double on 26 points and 15 rebounds. Aceituno hasn't dropped below two steals for 15 straight games. Shekinah Brattrud was another key contributor, scoring six points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
The victory (which was Desert Christian Academy's fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-5. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.0 points per game. As for Temecula Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.
Desert Christian Academy will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against La Jolla at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th. As for Temecula Prep, they will face off against California Military Institute at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
