After flying high against Smidt Tech last Wednesday, Contreras came back down to earth. The Contreras Cobras came up short against the Santee Falcons on Friday, falling 16-4. Axcan Martinez put in work no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits.
