Pinkerton had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They blew past the Alvirne Broncos 15-3. That's more bragging rights for the Astros, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hunter Brasier was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

Pinkerton always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .600. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Alvirne only posted an OBP of .385.

Pinkerton's win bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Alvirne, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-16.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Pinkerton is set to challenge their familiar foe Windham at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Alvirne will square off against rival Bishop Guertin at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
