McLoud lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Stroud, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's contest. The Redskins blew past the Tigers 12-0 on Thursday. That 12 run margin sets a new team best for the Redskins this season.

Ella Smith made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.

In other batting news, Miley Hicklin was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jasci Schafer, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

McLoud pushed their record up to 10-2-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Stroud, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-9.

McLoud has already played their next match, a 13-0 win against Holdenville on the 28th. As for Stroud, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 7-6 victory against Prague on the 28th.
