Upper Dauphin Area has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will face off against the Millersburg Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Upper Dauphin Area focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
Last Friday, Upper Dauphin Area came up short against the WolfPack and fell 60-52.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Mazie Bingaman, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Emilee Deibert was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Millersburg waltzed into their matchup on Friday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Susquenita by a score of 52-40.
Upper Dauphin Area's defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 16-5. As for Millersburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.
Upper Dauphin Area didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Indians when the teams last played two weeks ago, but they still walked away with a 54-48 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Upper Dauphin Area since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
