Basketball Recap: Venture Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

Ben Holt College Prep Academy came into Tuesday's game looking for another win against Venture Academy, but Kelyiana Neal wouldn't allow it. The Venture Academy Mustangs sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 50-47 victory over the Ben Holt College Prep Academy Bobcats on Tuesday thanks in part to Neal, who went 10 of 19 en route to 26 points along with eight steals and seven rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played.

Another player making a difference was Kimora Crawford, who posted eight points in addition to 12 boards and six steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Venture Academy pushed their record up to 9-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-6.

Venture Academy has already played their next contest, a 53-26 victory against Turlock Christian on the 23rd. As for Ben Holt College Prep Academy, they will face off against Millennium at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
