Baseball Recap: Fowler Takes Down Morro Bay in a Playoff Battle

Fowler extended their postseason success on Thursday against Morro Bay. They beat the Pirates by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. Considering the Redcats have won 20 contests by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Fowler is on a roll lately: they've won 20 of their last 21 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Morro Bay, they moved to 25-7 with that defeat, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Fowler nor the Pirates have any future games scheduled.
