She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in September of 2024.
In other batting news, Morgan Sizemore and Charlotte Crim did most of the damage at the plate: Sizemore went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double, while Crim got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs. Another player making a difference was Emi Sanders, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Centaurus was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .435. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher in six consecutive matches.
As for Bennett, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3. Having soared to a lofty 14 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.
On Bennett's side, Jagoda Gutowska was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
