Harding University was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 82-72 to the Hopewell Titans. One positive for the Rams, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Several Rams players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Lonnie Walker, who went 7 of 15 on his way to 19 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Nate Decker, who posted 14 points and four steals.

Harding University's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Hopewell, their victory was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0.

Harding University didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 70-67 win against Crossroads Christian on the 20th. As for Hopewell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 77-63 victory against Mallard Creek on the 20th.
