Despite the loss, Enochs saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Alivia Pierce posted 18 points along with six rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pierce has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylie Bethke, who put up seven points.
Meanwhile, Mountain House entered their tilt with Tracy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 41-29 victory over the Bulldogs.
Mountain House now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Enochs, they dropped their record down to 2-5 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
Things could have been worse for Enochs, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 54-39 loss to Mountain House in their previous matchup back in December of 2023. Can Enochs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
