Boron had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Frazier Mountain Falcons with a sharp 17-3 win. Considering the Bobcats have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Boron's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Frazier Mountain, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Coming up, Boron is taking a road trip to challenge Bishop Union at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Broncos have averaged an impressive 8.9 runs per game this season. As for Frazier Mountain, they will be playing at home against Mammoth at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The Huskies will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
