Harvest-Westminster has won three straight games at home, while Johnsburg has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Warriors will welcome the Skyhawks at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Harvest-Westminster's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last six contests.
On Thursday, Harvest-Westminster needed a bit of extra time to put away Chicago Christian. They put the hurt on the Knights with a sharp 10-2 win. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 18 games by six runs or more this season.

Luke Bartolome made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned runs off seven hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Those four hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Ryan St. Louis, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennan O'Donnell, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Harvest-Westminster kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in seven consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Johnsburg fell victim to Lake Forest and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Scouts. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Skyhawks haven't been shut out since back in April.
Harvest-Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 21-5. As for Johnsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 17-9.
Harvest-Westminster suffered a grim 13-0 defeat to Johnsburg in their previous matchup back in March of 2018. Can the Warriors avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
