The Ashland-Greenwood Bluejays will head out on the road to face off against the Kearney Catholic Stars at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.
On Tuesday, Ashland-Greenwood came up short against Malcolm and fell 51-42.
Meanwhile, Kearney Catholic also suffered a loss in their last game, but this one to Scotus by a score of 38-31. Kearney Catholic has struggled against Scotus recently, as their match on Saturday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Rylie O'Hare, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tessa Colling, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Ashland-Greenwood has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season. As for Kearney Catholic, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
