Hoopa Valley won the last time they faced Happy Camp and things went their way on Saturday too. The Warriors were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over the Indians. The result was nothing new for the Warriors, who have now won seven matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Allen Kane spent all five innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on two hits and racked up 11 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brian Richards was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. He is becoming a predictor of Hoopa Valley's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 6-1 (and 5-6 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Delmer Ferris, who went 1-for-2 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

The victory was the third in a row for Hoopa Valley, bringing their record up to 11-7.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Warriors beat Happy Camp by a score of 15-0 later that day.
