They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Scholars Guild Academy Spartans on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 5-3 victory on Monday.
Matthew Mitchell was excellent, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and two RBI.
The win made it two in a row for Pinecrest Academy and bumps their season record up to 19-3. As for Scholars Guild Academy, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 21-10.
Looking ahead, Pinecrest Academy will challenge Creekside Christian Academy on Friday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their 18th straight victory, something the Paladins surely won't give up without a fight. Scholars Guild Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
