Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering hasn't had much luck against Bell recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will host the Griffins at 6:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Zephan Pittman produced another solid performance throwing for 191 yards and three TDs on only ten passes. Meanwhile, Bell put their dominant defense on display in the team's third consecutive shutout on Saturday. They blew past McKinley Tech 42-0. The Griffins haven't had any issues with the Trainers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Bell's win came from a few key players Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Antonio Washington, who rushed for 53 yards and a pair of scores, and also caught one touchdown. What's more, he posted two rushing touchdowns, the most he's had since back in November of 2024. Another passer making a difference was Will Hewitt, who threw for 234 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 11.7 yards per attempt.

Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 156.2 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bell struggles in that department as they've been averaging 173.8 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering was dealt a bruising 51-0 loss at the hands of Bell when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Washington, who rushed for 97 yards and two touchdowns. Now that the Panthers know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
