It was a good run, but Chester unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 57-39 bruising from the Biggs Wolverines. The Volcanoes were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolverines from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chester fell to 2-1. As for Biggs, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Chester will host Big Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Biggs, they will face off against Weed at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday. Weed's defense has only allowed 28 points per game this season, so Biggs' offense will have their work cut out for them.
