Ventura got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Skyler Knight out in front who scored 17 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Kailee Staniland, who scored 16 points along with five steals.
Ventura pushed their record up to 23-3 with that win, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Santa Barbara, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
Ventura will head out on the road to square off against Buena at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Buena will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Santa Barbara, they will be playing at home against San Marcos at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. San Marcos presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Santa Barbara in California (San Marcos is ranked 231st, while Santa Barbara is ranked 629th).
