The Needles Mustangs won the last time they faced the Laughlin Cougars, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Needles breezed by Laughlin at home to the tune of 68-8. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Needles.
The victory got Needles back to even at 2-2. As for Laughlin, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Needles will take on White Pine at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully White Pine focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 33 on Saturday. As for Laughlin, they will be playing at home against Awaken Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Awaken Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 28 on Saturday.
