Grand Terrace is 1-9 against Kaiser since April of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Titans will welcome the Cats at 3:45 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Grand Terrace 3.3, Kaiser 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Grand Terrace is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand San Gorgonio a 13-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

02/22/25 vs Rancho Verde | 3 |
Not much got past Lawrence Bonilla, who gave up just two hits and racked up 12 Ks to keep San Gorgonio off the board. Bonilla also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Grand Terrace is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 3-7 otherwise.
At the plate, Jesse Medina and Ray Roybal did most of the damage at the plate: Medina went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI, while Roybal scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. What's more, Roybal posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. Vasili Kazaltzes was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
They weren't the only one making solid contact: Grand Terrace kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Kaiser entered their tilt with Arrowhead Christian on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 6-3.
Danny Andrew Ramirez looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Issac Estrada, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Kaiser pushed their record up to 10-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Grand Terrace, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
Grand Terrace couldn't quite finish off Kaiser when the teams last played back in March and fell 3-1. Will the Titans have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more baseball content.
