The Turlock Bulldogs came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 42-26 victory over Gregori. This was payback for Turlock, who suffered a 55-36 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Turlock can attribute much of their success to Olivia Walker, who scored five points along with ten rebounds and six assists. Walker is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed five or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kadence Craven, who scored 11 points.
Turlock has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a massive bump to their 10-14 record this season. As for Gregori, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Turlock will challenge the Pride at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Pitman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Tuesday. As for Gregori, they will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Enochs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 40 last Thursday.
