Carter Hajek Turns in Season-Best Effort
Carter Hajek produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Nemaha Central to the win on Friday. Hajek's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 11th straight game with at least 104 rushing yards dating back to last season. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Royal Valley's probably not too fond of Hajek given he always seems to get the better of them. Hajek rushed for 74 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 123 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in September of 2023.

Cael Frazier Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Holton got the W thanks in part to Cael Frazier playing the best football he has all season. Frazier made 18 total tackles. The performance also marked the most rushing yards (102) he has had since back in October of 2023.
Holton's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-3. Frazier and Holton will welcome Leavenworth at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Kyler Jackson Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
Holton was led to victory by Kyler Jackson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Jackson rushed for 188 yards while picking up 9.9 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Hiawatha had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Jackson it was a similar story. When Jackson last faced the Red Hawks back in September of 2023, he rushed for 66 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries.

Holton was led to victory by Korban Wilson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wilson rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.2 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
Hiawatha had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Wilson it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Wilson saw the Red Hawks), he rushed for 61 yards and two touchdowns.

Rossville Gets a Boost from Horak in 28-0 Victory
Rossville picked up their fourth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Tayson Horak. Horak did his part (and then some), rushing for 76 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 119 yards and a touchdown while completing 80% of his passes for the 'W'. He didn't just play on offense: he also made two total tackles and defended three passes.
This season, Horak has thrown 8 touchdowns while averaging 121.2 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 66 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 105.67 rushing yards.
