Wilber-Clatonia's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Palmer, who scored five points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Wilber-Clatonia's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Johnson County Central, they pushed their record up to 7-4 with that win, which was their third straight at home.
Wilber-Clatonia will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Southern at 5:00 p.m. on January 6th. As for Johnson County Central, they will square off against Sacred Heart at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Sacred Heart is ranked 89th, while Johnson County Central is ranked 64th).
