The More Knights are taking a road trip to  challenge the Woodside Wildcats  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (More has nine straight  victories, Woodside has three straight  defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
More's pitching crew heads into the  match  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Friday. They put the hurt on KIPP San Jose Collegiate with a sharp  15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Knights, who have now won nine contests by seven  runs or more  so far this season.

 Gabe Detar and  Anthony Selway made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Detar   struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit (and not a single walk). Meanwhile,  Selway   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in nine consecutive appearances. At bat,  Detar  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  stolen bases and three  runs, while  Selway  went a perfect 2-for-2 with four  RBI, one  run,  and one  double. Those  three  stolen bases gave  Detar a new career-high.
 In other batting news,  Blaise Boudreaux was a standout: he went 2-for-3 with three  stolen bases and three  runs. Those  two  hits gave  him a new career-high.  Charles Selway was another key player,  going a perfect 1-for-1 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and one  RBI.
Woodside couldn't beat Menlo School  on Thursday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the seventh inning. The Wildcats came up short against  the Knights, falling  23-9. Even though they lost, the Wildcats' still made a splash at the plate and bumped their average scoring up to 6.2 runs per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
 Woodside saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Cruz Torres, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and two  RBI.  Felix Kelly also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 More pushed their record up to 15-8 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Woodside, their loss dropped their record down to 9-14.
 More's speedy runners might be the difference in Saturday's   game. The Knights have been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.3  stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Woodside, though, as  they've been averaging  only 1  stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will More continue to outrun the ball?
