The Roybal Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fifth straight loss. Their tough 53-33 loss to Robert F. Kennedy Community might stick with them for a while. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Roybal has suffered since November 13, 2023.
Despite the loss, Roybal still got an impressive performance from Angie Sebastian, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Sebastian has scored all season. Jasmine Carrillo was another key contributor, scoring six points.
Roybal's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Robert F. Kennedy Community, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-5.
Roybal will head out on the road to square off against Bernstein at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Robert F. Kennedy Community, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Belmont at 4:00 p.m. on January 19th. Belmont comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last five games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
