If Lee County was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Colquitt County last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houston County Bears on Tuesday. Surprisingly, this marked the fourth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Josh Barnes made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brendan Nash, who scored a run while going 4-for-4.

Lee County's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. As for Houston County, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-5.

While Lee County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
