Madera suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Friday. They were beaten by San Joaquin Memorial 78-37. Madera was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-20.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Sanger beat Justin Garza 51-46 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Sanger.
Madera bumped their record down to 13-9 with that defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road. As for Sanger, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.
Madera took a serious blow against Sanger in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 62-34. Can Madera avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
