Macey Grogan made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). Grogan was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.
In other batting news, Mallory Grogan was incredible, going 2-for-3 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. Allyssa Jones was another key player, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
Whitesboro always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .913. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
