The Ontario Christian Knights came tearing into Wednesday's contest with 16 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 45.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to Fairmont Prep for the full four quarters, racking up a 87-46 victory at home. Ontario Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 29 points or more this season.
Ontario Christian was led to victory by Karsen Marshall and Kaleena Smith. Marshall dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds, while Smith shot 9-for-18 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 41 points and ten assists. Smith has been hot recently, having posted 24 or more points the last 18 times she's played. Amanda Ajobiewe was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with four steals.
Ontario Christian pushed their record up to 24-3 with that win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 96.4 points per game. As for Fairmont Prep, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-8 record this season.
Ontario Christian will head out on the road to face off against the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Aquinas has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 193 points over their last three matches. Fairmont Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
