Ridgeview's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenadi Walton, who scored six points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Aldan, who scored six points along with two steals.
Ridgeview struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Bakersfield Christian posted 13 assists.
Bakersfield Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for Ridgeview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
Bakersfield Christian will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Garces Memorial at 5:45 p.m. Garces Memorial is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Ridgeview, they will head out on the road to face off against Independence at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Independence is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
