They were the victim of a tough 55-33 defeat at the hands of High Point Baptist Academy. Coventry Christian has struggled against High Point Baptist Academy recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Coventry Christian still got an impressive performance from Caitlin Cianci, who scored 25 points along with five rebounds and five steals. The game was Cianci's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Lasure, who scored six points.
Coventry Christian bumped their record down to 0-3 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for High Point Baptist Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coventry Christian will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Quakertown Christian at 3:30 p.m. on December 18th. As for High Point Baptist Academy, they will challenge Lancaster County Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
