Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fountain Central). They claimed a resounding 60-30 victory over the Covington Trojans. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Brailey Hoagland was a one-woman wrecking crew for Fountain Central as she went 5 of 6 on her way to 13 points and seven steals. Hoagland is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Henley Good, who posted nine points along with five rebounds and five steals.

Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zoey Doolin, who scored eight points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Karlee Drollinger, who earned nine points.

Fountain Central is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3 record this season. As for Covington, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.

Fountain Central has already played their next match, a 69-13 win against South Newton on the 15th. As for Covington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-26 defeat against Parke Heritage on the 16th.
