The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN) and the visiting Covington Trojans (Covington, IN), observed Fountain Central's basketball team overwhelm Covington by a score of 60-30.

The Mustangs (15-3) will now prepare for their challenge against South Newton (Kentland, IN). The Rebels come into the non-league challenge with a 0-14 record. In their last challenge, South Newton was routed by North White (Monon, IN), 48-20, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN) in a Wabash River challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Covington will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 14-3 record after their 90-16 league win over South Vermillion (Clinton, IN).
