Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Oxford Academy). They blew past the Unadilla Valley Storm, posting an 82-36 victory. The win was some much needed relief for the Blackhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak dating back to last season.

Oxford Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Unadilla Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oxford Academy will face off against Edmeston Central at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Edmeston Central will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Oxford Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Unadilla Valley, they will be playing at home against Harpursville at 7:15 p.m. on January 15th.
