The Fairfield Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Beyer 62-35 on the road. Considering Fairfield has won four contests by more than 26 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Fairfield's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was ZaRaya Porter , who scored 20 points along with nine rebounds. That's the first time this season that Porter scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayana Williams , who scored nine points along with 15 rebounds and five blocks.
Fairfield is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Beyer, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
