Among those leading the charge was Letzy Ambriz, who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Magali Jauregui was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with two steals.
Paradise has been struggling recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Pierce, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-12.
Paradise on the road again on Wednesday and play against Durham at 6:00 p.m. on January 24th. As for Pierce, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against East Nicolaus at 8:00 p.m.
