Baseball Recap: Antelope Takes a Loss

After flying high against Kennedy last Monday, Antelope came back down to earth. Antelope came up short against the West Park Panthers on Wednesday, falling 12-5. The Titans' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Antelope saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adrian Martinez, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. What's more, Martinez posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.

Antelope's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-5. As for West Park, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-4.

While Antelope had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
