The Coudersport Falcons scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Galeton 69-12 at home. Coudersport has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 21 points or more this season.
The victory (which was Coudersport's fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-4. As for Galeton, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-18.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coudersport won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Johnsonburg at 12:00 p.m. on February 3rd. Coudersport is coming into the match with seven straight victories on the road, so Johnsonburg is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for Galeton, they will square off against Williamson at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Galeton comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last 18 games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
