After losing to the Carmel Padres the last time they met, the North Monterey County Condors decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. North Monterey County was the clear victor by a 50-24 margin over Carmel. That looming 50-24 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for North Monterey County yet this season.
When it comes to explaining why Carmel lost on Saturday, one person who can't be blamed is Savanna Radowicz. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds. Those 13 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe LeMaster, who scored six points along with five rebounds.
The win got North Monterey County back to even at 3-3. As for Carmel, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Monterey County will square off against Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carmel, they will head out on the road to face off against Monte Vista Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
