East Coweta has gone 9-1 against Northgate recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. On Friday, East Coweta got the win against Thomas County Central by a conclusive 13-1. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Gaby Gopie, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 3.5 RBI per game. Addie Joiner was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one double.
East Coweta hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters in five consecutive contests.
Northgate came out on top against Newnan on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run fourth inning. The Vikings walked away with a 7-2 win over the Cougars.
Ella Coburn spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on two hits and racked up eight Ks.
At the plate, Trinity Hargrett was incredible, firing off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-4. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Makenzie Khaler, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and two RBI.
Northgate's victory bumped their record up to 18-5. As for East Coweta, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.
Both the two teams just can't seem to miss. East Coweta has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 8.9 hits per game. However, it's not like Northgate struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.4 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went East Coweta's way against Northgate in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as East Coweta made off with a 13-0 victory. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
