On Saturday, Ontario came up short against Norte Vista and fell 42-33.
Despite the loss, Ontario still got an impressive performance from Hailey McDow, who scored 7 points along with 8 steals. McDow is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Ontario's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Norte Vista, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ontario will take on Jurupa Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Jurupa Valley is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Norte Vista, they will play host again and welcome La Puente, where tip off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Monday. La Puente comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 12 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
