St. Mary's extended the longest winning streak in Southern Minnesota this week by beating New Ulm Cathedral, 48-28. The victory was the 10th in a row for the team.
St. Mary's took down the Greyhounds 48-28 last week, the largest margin of any game.
On the ground, Springfield's Zach Wells has rushed for 651 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Christopher Kretsch. The Springfield star has 20 catches for 357 yards.
Rod Berdan's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 4,383 from 4,459. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 48-28 victory over New Ulm Cathedral last week.
