The Willits Wolverines are taking a road trip to  face off against the Calistoga Wildcats  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Willits is coming into the  game hot, having won their last three games.
Willits is headed into the  matchup after thoroughly thrashing Roseland Collegiate Prep: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Willits blew Roseland Collegiate Prep out of the water with  a  54-16 final score. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight  contests by 22  points or more this season.

 Willits' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Kate Winter, who  posted four points along with ten  boards and four  steals. Those four  steals gave  Winter a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Arion Martin, who  went 5 of 9  en route to 10  points and five  steals.
 Meanwhile, Calistoga took a  blow against Sonoma Academy on Tuesday, falling  58-15. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings  (they are ranked 710th, while the Coyotes are ranked 349th).
 Willits' victory was  their fifth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.8 points. As for Calistoga, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 10-7.
 Willits beat Calistoga 38-29  in their previous matchup  on January 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Willits since the  squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
