The Birmingham Patriots waltzed into Thursday's contest with two straight wins but they left with three. Everything went their way against Alemany as Birmingham made off with a 65-44 victory. For Birmingham, this counts as revenge for the 63-49 loss Alemany walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2021.
Birmingham can attribute much of their success to Natalie E. Lopez, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was E. Lopez's third in a row with at least ten points. Samantha Velasquez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 4 steals.
Birmingham's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Alemany, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Birmingham will square off against Calabasas at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Alemany is on the road again on Monday and play against Hesperia at 3:30 p.m. on December 4th. Hopefully Hesperia focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 35 last Friday.
