Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pueblo Central). Everything went their way against the Pueblo East Eagles on Tuesday as they made off with a 22-5 victory. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.
Kaydence Martinez made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and one stolen base. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Charley Autobee, who went 3-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high.
