Baseball Recap: Windsor Triumphs

For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Windsor and Maria Carrillo meet (two straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Saturday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Pumas by a score of 9-4. This was a revenge game for the Jaguars: when they faced off against the Pumas on Friday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.

Micah Sanders was a standout: he went 1-for-4 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Noah Strozewski was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

Windsor's record now sits at 9-6. As for Maria Carrillo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-7 record this season.

Windsor didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Ukiah on the 16th. As for Maria Carrillo, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Rancho Cotate on the 16th.
