After losing to the Hill City Ringnecks the last time they met, the Phillipsburg Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Phillipsburg managed a 54-50 win over Hill City on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Phillipsburg.
Phillipsburg's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caden Seems, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Trey Carlson, who scored 15 points along with three steals.
Hill City's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Carson Keith, who scored 17 points along with five steals, and Dylan Gansel who scored 23 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Keith has scored all season.
Phillipsburg has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Hill City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
